The fitness industry is the only one that I know of that you can pay money, fail, and blame yourself. Funny, eh?

The Med Fit™ assessment process looks at a few basic things:

The rest of the assessment looks at the relative strength and range of motion of muscles & joints, such as the inner thigh (adductors), buttocks (hip extensors), groin muscles (hip flexors), shoulder joint, and more. Each area of the body should have a certain range of motion and any limitations noticed can be further investigated.

Generally, most clients come in with a personal history of injuries that they have had over the course of their life, which have left them with a series of weaknesses. Also since we have become a more sedentary society, we began to develop what is called “layered syndrome”, which simply refers to bands of tight and weak muscle combinations throughout the body. These are the things that hold us back and inhibit us from reaching our physical goals, not our genetic potential or lack of, not our age or gender. It is our ignorance of the mechanical issues we face and our lack of expertise in how to safely exercise is the reason why almost 85% of all people fail to reclaim their health.
